No Atkins for me!

Well, well, well. Here I sit, with a cup of my favourite tea...=)
I feel so healthy today. I've been out for a walk that took me about 50 minutes, and I've also gone out walk-running. The thing is, since I'm in such bad shape, I do a walk-for-a-minute then run-for-a-minute schedule. I have to start slow, and keep it interesting and fun. The moment I start thinking that it's BORING to move my body - I stop doing it...
I've also dyed my hair brown again today. I had blonde highlights and dark roots before. (eeek) And now I'm a healthy brunette again.
I have to start adding more protein to my diet.. Since I both want to lose weight and get a more toned physique through lifting weights, I need A LOT of protein. Trés important. =) But eating a lot of protein is somewhat difficult to manage, without a lot of planning. =S I don't want to cut out all carbs...I feel better eating a varied diet with lots of fruits, vegetables, bread and such things. Therefore Atkins would not work for me. =) Not even the 'life-time phase of Atkins'.
I need to do it MY way. Whatever way that is...
